Q: Why Do I Have To Change My Password On First Login?
A: Your password is vital to your MOODLE Account. The system keeps records or logs about when you login, when you submit homework as well as tracking all your online activity within the MOODLE system. If anyone but yourself has access to your password, they can change homework and journal assignments as well as posting comments or emailing others. It is VITALLY important that you keep your password secure to ensure the integrity of your MOODLE Account. Not even the MOODLE Webmaster knows your password!

Q: How Can I Reset My Password If I Forget It?
A: If you lose your password or just want to reset it for any reason, there are two ways to do this:
- On the MOODLE Login Page, there is a link under the section 'Forgotten your username or password?' called "Yes, help me log in". Click this link and you will be taken to a page where you will be asked for your Username or Email Address. Insert either one of these and select OK. An email will be sent to you with easy to follow instructions about resetting your password.
- Email the MDC Online Webmaster
(click here to reveal email) and they can reset your password. We cannot tell you what your password is but we can reset it and you will again be required to change it when you login next.

Q: What Is My Username?
A: The MDC Online uses a standard policy for Usernames. It is the first initial plus last name. For example: Joe Student is jstudent (username and passwords are always lowercase). The MDC Webmaster will email you your username and password once they have created your MOODLE account after you finish the Application Process.

Q: Why Am I Having Problems Using A Third Parties Credit Card To Pay For My Course In PayPal?
A: Due to a glitch in the communication between MOODLE and PayPal, In order to pay for a course with someone elses Credit Card, you must first visit the PayPal site ( www.paypal.ca) and setup a PayPal account in the name of the Credit Card Holder. Once you do this, you can go through the MOODLE Payment Gateway for the course you are registering in, and sign in using the PayPal account of the other person and pay for the course. At this time, we are unsure why this is an issue but this workaround has worked many times to solve the problem. Please Email the Eteach Webmaster if you need any help with this process.
